My Fair Lady Auditions
Synopsis: An English professor of phonetics makes a bet that he can transform a Cockney flower girl into a lady, in Lerner and Loewe’s musical adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion.
Each auditioner will need to prepare 60 seconds of a song from the classic era of Broadway (Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Lowe, Gershwin, Berlin, etc.) and be prepared to read and do a dance audition.
Sign up for a one-hour slot (30 m. Dance, 30 m. Sing/Read). Music can be played from phones or personal speakers.
Video auditions will be accepted by 5 p.m. on March 16th to melissadianegreen@gmail.com. Videos need to include 60 seconds of a song and 60 seconds of a dance (or a combo of singing/dancing)
